Editorial
===========
What if you had every article published on a subject of interest in your industry each day from over 25,000 news and business publications, available on a daily basis? Would this be a benefit to you, your company, or your clients? Could this keep you informed of news and movements within your industry? Could this keep you abreast of your competition and their movements? Could this possibly ease the decision making process?

Most people in business don't have time to read all the publications in their industry each day, which can include: Business newspapers, newsletters, business reports, magazines, newspapers, and other business reports. If this would be a potential benefit to you or your company, you can perform this type of research yourself. You can even do this for a living on the side, and eventually quit that job! I did - it works! And so many more businesses these days are realizing the value of the correct information at the correct time! Check out "The Handbook for the Information Professional".

Can the quality of your information diminish the anxiety of making a critical decision? Are you really seeking more information or are you looking to find a way to make better decisions? Sometimes we tend to get carried away with the amount of information out there and wind up complicating the problem we are trying to solve and the ability to make good decisions. Too much information can be as much of a problem as having too little of it. While its important to be open to new or alternative sources of reliable data, we must first have a clear passageway of the facts that most pertinent to the decisions we face on a day to day basis. To help negotiators make better decisions, we have developed a systematic way to reduce the risks when you and your company are on the line.
Like any other aspect of your business, the decisions you make should be based on the information you have or, as we call it, a "decision solution." If you need the ability to find the information that can ease the decision making process and funnel your negotiations to a point much faster than before. You can learn how to find this information and much more. You can do this research yourself, we'll show you how. And we're not talking about simple free internet type searches! We're talking about real and trusted information!: The Handbook for the Information Professional. http://www.robertlett.com/order.htm#ib
You will be glad you did.

THE RIGHT INFORMATION AT THE RIGHT TIME = $$$ FOR YOU AND YOUR CLIENTS!!!

Is it possible to narrow down or reduce the infinite variety of factors that will effect your decision? Yes, arm yourself with the information you need to make educated decisions. Some decisions will never be easy. The point here is that decision-makers have a tough job. A decision-making system can enhance what the decision-maker does. No system can replace the judgment or expertise of an accomplished decision-maker. There will always be some risk. Good decision-makers know the data elements they need to see. When they don't know the specific technical facts that are needed, they ask for help. They don't waste a lot of time and money looking for things that clutter or diffuse their ability to make a rational and informed decision.

If you or your company is seeking factual data to resolve a crisis or you just need information to fulfill a plan. Learn where and how to get that information and how it can be used to benefit your situation. Get more paying clients now, checkout: "The Handbook for the Information Professional". http://www.robertlett.com/order.htm#ib

FEATURE BUSINESS REVIEW
Sometimes it is only through a crisis when one really becomes convinced that planning is completed long before the doing. Newspapers and Business Periodicals are loaded with articles showing businesses that had either failed to plan for some contingency or they failed to plan at all. "Fail to plan - Plan to fail". You can now do this type of research yourself to see where others in your industry failed, so your client's can make a plan to circumnavigate those failures. Smartphone use Abroad:

Using your Smartphone abroad:
After carrying my Smartphone to Russia (twice), Brazil, Argentina, Belize, Honduras, Grand Cayman, and Mexico I have found it to be a necessity. Even though my Smartphone doesn't connect to their GSM systems. I'm hoping the next Smartphone will have a usable global connection. (By the way; It's sometimes cheaper to just rent a cell phone at your destination than to use your handset abroad. I've seen $8 US Dollars per minute in some countries where it does work).

A little program called CurrCalc, Currency Calculator. You put in as many exchange rates as you want, and then just select which one you need. And from then on, just enter how much something is, and it will exchange the amount for you! I always check the exchange rates online before leaving and update my software.

I wrote four articles for uses of the Smartphone on a 12-hour train ride from Saint Petersburg to Moscow Russia. And I still got 7 to 8 hours of sleep. I guess I could have had a drink and slept for the entire 12 hours. But instead, by the time I arrived, I was that much further ahead. A program called DocsToGo allowed me to put everything in a typeset format where all I had to do was FTP the articles to my distributors on the way home from the airport with my FTP (File Transfer Protocol) software VFSFTP. By the way, the foldable keyboard is a must!

The clock programs are a must! In Russia, I tried to get a wakeup call for 7am. Somehow, probably my non-ability to communicate with the clerk at the desk thought I wanted a wakeup call at 3am? Well, I still had my Smartphone setup to wake me at 7. And I really didn't remember the wakeup call until around Noon. At first, I thought it was a dream, then realized that I never got my wakeup call that morning. I was thankful that I set my Smartphone up the night before.

My wife and myself went Hang Gliding in Rio, about 10 miles south of Sugarloaf. On the way we hit traffic, I just took out the old Smartphone and took care of business. Actually, I had gotten interested in an adventure game called Warfare Inc. A very addictive strategy game where you build and defend your base. This came in handy while we sat dead still in traffic. I guess I could have listened to one of my audio books or read one of the 17 ebooks I had on my SD (Secure Digital) memory card at the time, but sometimes you just have to take a break! Besides being addictive, it's got some pretty good challenges.

Think of how nice it would be to have your computer and all your important files hanging on your belt or sitting in your purse or pocket and only add a few ounces to your current cell phone. There you have it, your Smartphone - with you 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Always on and ready to use in a moments notice. You don't even have to boot the thing up, as long as you have charged batteries, you are up and running. (Most of the Smartphones come standard with 110 and 220 voltage chargers, so the only other thing you might need, is a plug adaptor for the country you plan to visit. And you might need the adaptor for your camera or razor or whatever else you might normally bring on an international vacation or business trip.
