This is a business opportunity that could change your on-line life forever! You can make $347 and up per hour finding information with your home computer and an online connection. I'm selling a ebook that explains the step by step procedures to be taken to become an Information Professional, basically, a Database Research Specialist. This is a meat and potatoes program, nothing sugar coated, and this is not some kind of a system. You will work, and you WILL make money!
I started in the information research service in 1981 downloading term papers for fellow students. After ending up in the Deans office twice, I figured there was probably a better way of earning money. This grew into the information service, Infinite-Data.

This handbook was originated in 1986 as a document attached to my business plan. I wanted a step by step definition of the procedures that I performed on a day to day basis. I still left my business plan intact, but I didn't like the outline form of the business plan. Through the years I've updated the document and built it into a learning tool for future Information Professionals. I've decided to share the handbook so others may benefit.
There are over 1000 different variations of this industry. I'm not too worried about creating competition. The chance that you would select the same niche in the market that I have selected is very unlikely. Besides, I retired back on my 40th Birthday, and you can too. Regardless of what you are currently doing for a living or whatever field you may be interested in, there is an information need in that industry just waiting for you to fill. The niche in the market that you select is only limited to your own imagination. The 1990's has been marked the beginning of the information age! And this train of thought is even more so for 2000's and the years ahead! The time is now for the information industry. The booming information market has just begun to grow within the last few years. People are now realizing the benefit of information, and what it means not to have a needed piece of information. This is making Information easier to sell to your clients, and at the present there is very little competition, if any.

This program was prepared for a business startup, but you can also
use these techniques to give yourself the power of negotiation in whatever job
you are currently holding. By knowing previous steps your managers have taken
so far, you will know sales patterns and when your company is making more money,
and when they are at a higher income level. This will give you that opportune
time to ask for that raise you have been wanting.
And when your supervisor tries to say that sales are still down, you will be armed with the information to say: "But here in the credit report we have paid almost all debts and our sales are up higher than they have been in almost four years." If this doesn't get you the raise or a promotion to a higher paying department, you are in a "dead-end" job and it's time to begin looking elsewhere.
You can also find all companies in your area that employ people performing the same job you currently have and how their pay compares to what you are currently being paid. You can then confront your manager with the fact that the other company is paying people in your position more than you are currently being paid. This along with the raise request mentioned above can almost always guarantee that raise. Or you may need to get on with your life!

When you go for an interview, you will be able to arm yourself with an abundance of information about this company. You can obtain all the newspaper articles that have been printed in the last six months to a year. You can have this type of information in about 5 minutes. You can obtain the financial records and a TRW credit report to find out how that company is doing to help you decide if you even want to interview with this company. You wouldn't want to begin working for a company that ends in bankruptcy or laying off people a month later. Especially if you plan to quit your current job to go to this company. You will know where that company has been and where they are headed.
The power of negotiation depends on how much knowledge you have on a particular subject. Like any argument you may have, if you have more information about the subject at hand, you will be the guaranteed winner of the argument. Argument may not be the best word to use, we will replace it with negotiation. My program will give you the power to arm yourself with the necessary information to battle those negotiations.

When people are negotiating with you, and THEY get what they want but you do not necessarily get what you want, it is because they have done their research. You will now be able to negotiate using the same tactics (information) against the other person. Even if it is to get that ultimate job! Of course, you don't want to start an "argument" during an interview, but you will need to negotiate the job and wages.
If college is your next move, you can find all the colleges in the state where you reside or the entire United States that have the degrees you seek. Or find all colleges that have a certain sports team that you are interested. You can also pick them by what facilities they have or how expensive they are. You can find the one that fits your budget all from the comfort of your own home.
Now for the business side of this program, if you plan to perform research for other businesses in your industry:
The best way to explain an Information Professional's job, is to give an example:
A client calls needing information on a particular company. Be it for investment purposes, to purchase this company, or maybe they just plan to do business with this company and would like to know if they are paying their bills. What I do for my client is; Obtain financial statements, balance sheets, a 24 month financial history trend, marketing and management reports, and I'll probably throw in a credit report on the company of interest. This will arm my client with enough information to make sound decisions. This will let my client know what direction the company is going, and basically show the track record of the company of interest.
I charge a three hour minimum at $347 per hour for my services. This means, for every client I have, I will at least be paid $1041. This would take me about an hour to an hour and a half to obtain; some projects can take much longer, depending on the depth of the project. This is the niche in the market that I had selected. The services you create will probably be different.
Your hourly pay will depend on how technical the information is that you obtain for your client. If you are interested in the legal field and plan to download actual court cases for lawyers, your hourly fees could be well over $750 per hour and your minimum project fees would probably be set at around $1250. You will be able to search millions of court records in minutes.
There are thousands of databases that you will have access to. They cover everything from A to Z (Agriculture to Zoology). There is a database for almost every industry known.

Any computer will do for this business as long as you can hook a modem to it. The speed of the computer doesn't matter that much. The modem should be at least a 56k baud. A fax/modem is recommended, but not needed. If you have a fax/modem, you can obtain your reports and fax them straight to your client and never have to leave home. It would be a good investment after you get into the business.
The handbook will help you in selecting your own niche in the market. You will want to define your market as narrowly as possible. Once you have selected your market, the handbook will explain some inexpensive services that you can use to obtain names, addresses, and phone numbers of your market. You can search by the county you are in and the counties that connect to yours. This should give you a large enough list to begin. At this point, all that is left is contacting your potential clients. There is a request form in the back of the handbook that tells you exactly what to ask the client. If you ask all the questions on this request form, you should have no problems building your search strategy.

Once you have compiled your list of potential clients, I recommend "cold calling" or calling each potential client on your list and explaining the benefits of 'your' services to 'their' business. And if you have a web site, direct them to your site for future business. This type of marketing is the only type I recommend. Even if you have the money to acquire TV ads, cold calling is the best marketing I have yet to find, besides, it also happens to be the least expensive.
Once in 1984 I had done some work for an ad agency. They said I should try a classified ad in the local business newspaper. Well, I had done them some favors for free so they wrote a very professional and neat looking ad that was directed towards businesses in my market. After the ad ran, I received over 200 calls a day. My friends thought I was doing great! BUT... Out of every 200 calls, at most, only two would actually be able to afford my services. Most all of them were high school and college students who wanted research papers done. This is the reason why I have found that "cold calling" or "Web Presence" is the best marketing approach for this type of industry. You really have to be careful who your advertising will reach when you open it to the public.

Public Records Research. Within the last five years more and more county level records are being placed in computer databases for online access. This might include; Pre-employment screenings, arrest reports, DMV records, credit reports, Social Security Number verifications, missing persons search, UCC records, Real Property records, asset searches, professional licenses research, and many more listed in the Public Records section of the handbook. You might even want to perform a criminal record search on that new boyfriend or girlfriend?
Private Investigating is an exciting field. I have done many research projects for Private Investigator's, most of the requests are on computer databases somewhere. The client doesn't realize that the information they seek already exists, and will ask for assistance through a Private Investigator. They could have actually gotten the information themselves, if they only knew how and where to get it.
You can perform this service part or full time. Turn those on-line hobbies into $$$! These businesses that you target have got to have this information, but they are forced to get the information themselves or do with out the information. Usually they do without, because they either don't realize that the information is out there, or don't know how to obtain the information. You will basically be a consultant's consultant-working directly with other businesses, and this is where the moneys is! There are no special licenses or fees-besides your own business licenses and tax filings-which every business has to do.
I have included an outline Business Plan inside the Handbook. It has all instructions, which you can copy and edit as much as you want.
This is not a "get rich quick" scheme-you will have to work. I don't want to scare you off, but even though it is fun and easy, there is still some work involved. And I'm not going to guarantee that you will be rich in three months, but you will be better off than you are now, mentally, physically, and hopefully monetarily.
